Overcoming Fatigue
“I found Dr. Otis in 2000 after several MDs had told me that my overwhelming fatigue didn't really have a physical root cause and that I was depressed, 'burnt out' and too Type A - I should just relax and slow down they said. My gut said they were wrong and there was something going on physically with me - it wasn't all in my head.
Dr. Otis quickly identified exhausted adrenals as the cause of my fatigue.
He immediately prescribed supplements, nutrition, exercises, and brain exercises and did a series of subtle physical adjustments. He also helped me step back and look at lifestyle choices such as taking the birth control pill that were slowly draining my body of its natural health over time.
Six years later, I have completed two marathons; a graduate degree and can almost keep up with my 17-year-old son on the slopes. More importantly, I have become a partner with my body and have learned to understand its cues and requests before I deplete it entirely and it needs to scream and shout at me!
